Biography
Nicola Pagani has a masters degree in conservation and restoration of cultural heritage, at the Italian Institute for Conservation and Restoration (ISCR). He attended the school of the State Printing Works at the State Mint (Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca della Stato). He specializes in conservation of ceramic, metals and alloys, glass and organic materials, with a master degree dissertation based on the conservation of an Etruscan chariot with the development of several philological reconstructions using the 3D technologies. He works as a freelance conservator and trainer for Italian institutions and museums and in foreign countries such as Sultanate of Oman and Republic of Iraq. He has taken part in official missions for the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, as a trainer for the technicians of the National Museum of Iraq in Baghdad. He has been working in collaboration with the ISCR in various conservation projects concerning the use of 3D technologies
